I purchased the Kindle DX to strictly read books and reduce the size of my physical book collection. I love the fact that Amazon gives us the choice to delete a book off of the Kindle DX and reload the book on their website if you wish to re-read a book. Wow, that means I can buy more than 3,500 books! : )
I have a permanent eye sight problem in turn led to eye surgery, this stopped me from reading as much as I would like to. But the Kindle Dx has given me back my ability to read much more clearly and comfortably! I really love the larger screen and the ability to change the font size. It is a little heavy but do-able if you hold it with both hands. I also like the sleekness and all of the buttons since they are not obtrusive.
I do wish that every book Amazon offered was available on the Kindle DX...especially the non fiction, true account section.
