I bought my kindle for travel, but I find that I want to us it for all my reading. I got the wireless but I'm not sure it is really necessary. I'm not interested in newspapers or magazines, so I tend to download things from my desk top anyway. I do love the big screen. There are two downsides. There is no zoom. I could really use it for some pdf files I have downloaded. And it is a little bit heavy. I am happy to not have to go to the library every 3 weeks and can download lots of books for free or only a few cents. I don't like current authors much so I find a lot of my favorties available for free.
