I bought my Kindle a few months back. The biggest draw was the guarantee that no book, including new best sellers, would be more than $9.95. Now, with no notice of any kind, I find the guarantee has literally REVERSED itself and it now says, "best sellers AS LOW AS $9.95"!!!! What a deceptive rip off. Most stuff is now $13.95. That's a big hike. It seems like bad timing, too, considering the release of the iPad (with backlight so you don't need a flashlight outside your home!)
