I've had Kindle for PC for awhile and for Christmas last year also got a Barnes and Noble nook. A few days ago, my Kindle DX came in, so I'm clearly becoming a connoisseur of the e-book. So far the device has worked exactly as advertised and has given me no problems. The books show up within a minute as promised. The pages turn easily, and the text is easy to read. I like the auto rotation feature on it although by habit I still keep the device rightside up mostly. Being used to the touchscreen features of the nook (which I also highly recommend even though it's a competing product), I had a little bit of a time accustoming myself to the different navigational means of the DX, but that was only for a very brief period. Two features I would like for the DX are a manually replaceable battery and the ability to increase storage. I don't rate those as negatives , however, because neither has become a problem for me as yet. Overall, I'm highly pleased with the Kindle DX and enjoy it immensely. It and similar devices are clearly the wave of the future, and I hope they open many who would otherwise not be inclined to reading up to the joys of it in a new and fun way.Get more detail about Kindle DX Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G, 9.7" Display, Graphite, 3G Works Globally – Latest Generation.
