It seems that other reviews have more than adequately covered the technical aspects of the Kindle DX. This is my first Kindle and I love it. I am an avid reader and I bought it because I could no longer hold a book. The Kindle DX gave that joy back to me. It casts a bright, non-glaring light that works well in both low light and darkness. There have been comments in other reviews about the buttons being on the right. I'm a lefty and have no trouble operating them. I'm delighted with all the extra features including web access, especially since my main objective was to purchase an e-reader.
