There are so many books I wanted to read but because they were out of print or stock I thought I'd never get the chance to read them....wrong!! I was surprised by my husband and kids with my Kindle DX.
And all I can say is I Love...Love...Love my kindle. I had been lucky enough to get one because they are pricey, my husband wanted to buy the IPAD. But from everything I read the Kindle DX was for me. I just wanted to read inside, outside or down at the lake. My daughter just loves it too. Don't get me wrong ~ I love the feel of a book in my hand or spending the afternoon in the bookstore with my kids. But I have every intention of buying one for my daughter. We have been sharing mine and it's getting old trying to get it away from her ~ she's 16 and she's got that Kindle in a death grip. It was my Mother's Day, Birthday and Anniversary present. I've gotten a few .99 books and they are great as well as some of the more expensive ones. I figure it will have paid for itself in about a year in a half. You won't be disappointed*
